The Board of Regents’ Communications and Branding policy establishes requirements for use of consistent standards for the visual and written communications of all BOR institutions, administrative units, and university employees, as well as authorized use by affiliates.
The policy outlines specific information that should be included in all forms of communications, including email correspondence. In general, contact information should be consistently provided and is limited to the items listed below. Please note that this policy prohibits personal quotes, pronouns, tribal affiliations, micro-credentials, external organization membership, or non-university approved images. Approved information includes:
- Name
- Email address
- Physical address
- Mailing address
- Telephone number(s)
- Web links to official institutional websites or social media platforms (if applicable)
- Institutional logo
- Institutional motto
